MySign NZSL Online course - Beg (Part 3)

Learn NZSL (New Zealand Sign Language) online via MySign!

You will have an online class with qualified NZSL tutor to teach you and it is fully interactive - just online! 7 weeks online course starting Monday, 1st November 4.00pm - 5.00pm. This is suitable for students who have completed NZSL Beginner - Part 2 (or approx. 16 hours in the past) or Beginner 1a (face to face classes).

Dates: 1st November to 13th December

Course fee:  $110 for full 7 week class incl. weekly handouts/homework

Level: NZSL Beginner - Part 3 (Level 1, Units 5 & 6)

At the end of this course, you will learn:

Unit 5 - Family and Friends

• communicate about simple home and leisure daily routines and activities
• express feelings about activities
• use calendar and clock time phrases
• wrap up activities, review, final activity and/or event

Unit 6 - Small Talk

• start conversations with known and unknown people
• make compliments (e.g. appearance, clothing) and congratulations
• ask and tell about general wellbeing, health and everyday life
• discuss the weather
• close a conversation
