NZSL Clubs Are Coming to Your Towns!
Merge NZ is excited to bring NZSL Clubs to Hamilton, Dunedin and Invercargill, thanks to funding from the Festival of Adult Learning Ahurei Ākonga!
Who’s Invited: Everyone! Whether you're a beginner, a fluent signer, or just curious, this event is for you. We offer a supportive and safe learning environment where everyone can feel comfortable practising and learning at their own pace.
This event will feature:
✨ Engaging activities for all ages
✨ Opportunities to practice and learn NZSL
✨ Meet and connect with the local Deaf community
Whether you’re learning NZSL or fluent already, this event is the perfect place to share experiences, practice signing, and build lasting connections.
Want to stay connected? Visit your local NZSL Club Facebook page to keep in touch with your community and stay updated on future events.

Will There Be NZSL Clubs in Other Towns?
We hope to expand NZSL Clubs to more towns in the future. If you're interested in having a club in your area, please register your interest. New clubs can be established if there are passionate individuals willing to lead them!
If there is an NZSL Club already established in your area that is not listed on our website, please contact us.
For a small fee, we can offer you support and resources.
