NZSL course - Palmerston North - Int 2a

Join and learn New Zealand Sign Language (NZSL) course in Palmerston North!

NZSL is a beautiful language, and an official language of NZ. This is a NZSL Int 2a course - suitable for students who have completed the Beginner level course. Certificate of Attendance and will be issued at the end of the course*. This course is now postponed to one week later from 19th February to 26th February.

Days: Mondays, 6.00pm to 8.00pm 

Dates: Mondays, 26/2, 4/3, 11/3, 18/3, 25/3, 8/4, 15/4 and 22/4 (8 Weeks)

Level: NZSL Int 2a (Unit 10 and 11)

Cost: $170 for 8-week course incl. handout/homework.

Learning outcomes:

By the end of this 2a course, learners will learn:

Unit  10 - All about Me

• exchange personal information
• tell about life events, including language learning
• describe and give information about others
• talk about extended family/whānau and family origins.

Unit 11 - Home Life

• talk about activities, food and things around the house
• discuss home life and housework
• describe personal experiences about mishaps in the home.

*Certificate of Attendance are on request and with 80% attendance being meet. Please note that registering online confirms your place in the course. Minimum number of students applies - if minimum numbers are not meet course may be postponed or cancelled. Please read our cancellation policy.
