NZSL Online course - Beg (Part 3)

Learn NZSL (New Zealand Sign Language) online via MySign!

You will have an online class with qualified NZSL tutor to teach you and it is fully interactive - just online! 8 weeks online course starting Wednesday, 8th June 7.30pm - 8.30pm. This is suitable for students who have completed approximately 16 hours of NZSL online or have completed Beginners 1b onsite.

Dates: 8/6, 15/6, 22/6, 29/6, 6/7, 13/7, 20/7 and 27/7

Course fee:  $130 for full 8 week class incl. weekly e-handouts/homework

Level: NZSL Beginner - Part 3 (Level 1, Unit 5 and Unit 6)

At the end of course, learners will:

Unit 5 - Everyday activities

• communicate about simple home and leisure daily   routines and activities
• express feelings about   activities
• use calendar and clock time   phrases
• wrap up activities, review, final activity and/or event

Unit 6 - Small Talk

• start conversations with known and unknown people
• make compliments (e.g. appearance, clothing) and congratulations
• ask and tell about general wellbeing, health and everyday life
• discuss the weather
• close a conversation
