NZSL Online course - Int (Part 2)

Learn NZSL (New Zealand Sign Language) online via MySign!

You will have an online class with qualified NZSL tutor to teach you and it is fully interactive - just online! 8 weeks online course starting Tuesday, 16th August 7.30pm - 9.00pm. This is suitable for students who have completed between 60 - 70 hours of NZSL or have completed Intermediate (Part 1) online or Level 2a onsite.

You just need a computer/laptop with webcam and an internet connection and you have everything you need. Tablets and mobiles are not recommended for online learning.

Dates: 16th August to 4th October 

Course fee:  $150 for full 8 week class incl. weekly e-handouts/homework

Level: NZSL Intermediate - part 2 (Level 2, Units 12 and 13)

At the end of course, learners will learn:

Unit 12 - My Workplace

• Compare various jobs and work conditions
• Describe personal qualities and skills required for work roles
• Explain simple instructions for common work-related tasks
• Demonstrate appropriate ways to interact with Deaf people in workplaces

Unit 13 - Leisure Time

• Recount personal experiences about recreation, sports, hobbies and interests
• Discuss, agree, announce and explain information about leisure
• Give simple instructions or rules for an activity or game
• Explain goals for future   activities/skills: wish list and reasons

Please note registering online confirms your registration and commits you to the course. We will go ahead once we have reached the min number of participants (a min number is 4 participants is required).
