NZSL Online course - Int (Part 3)

Learn NZSL (New Zealand Sign Language) online via MySign!

You will have an online class with qualified NZSL tutor to teach you and it is fully interactive - just online! 8 weeks online course starting Tuesday, 14th June 5.30pm - 7.00pm. This is suitable for students who have completed approximately 60 hours of NZSL or have completed Intermediate (Part 2) online or Level 2b onsite.

Dates: 14/6, 21/6, 28/6, 5/7, 12/7, 19/7, 26/7 and 2/8

Course fee:  $150 for full 8 week class incl. weekly handouts/homework

Level: NZSL Intermediate - Part 3 (Level 2, Units 13 & 14)

At the end of this course, learners will learn: 

Unit 13 - Leisure Time

• Recount personal experiences about recreation, sports, hobbies and interests
• Discuss, agree, announce and explain information about leisure
• Give simple instructions or rules for an activity or game
• Explain goals for future activities/skills: wish list and reasons

Unit 14 - All Abour Services

• Describe needs for everyday service (e.g. Repair car, electrician, vet)
• Discuss services and utilities provided   (e.g. Prices, experiences, quality)
• Express and respond to concerns and advice about services
• Make suggestions and recommend services
