MySign NZSL Online course - Beg (Part 3)

Learn NZSL (New Zealand Sign Language) online via MySign!

You will have an online class with qualified NZSL tutor to teach you and it is fully interactive - just online! 8 weeks online course starting Tuesday, 2nd November 8.00pm - 9.00pm. This is suitable for students who have completed approximately 16 hours of NZSL or have completed Beginner (Part 2) online course.

Dates: 2nd November to 14th December (there will be 2 classes in one week and then 7 weeks = total 8 weeks)

Times: 8.00pm - 9.00pm

Course fee:  $130 for full 8 week class incl. weekly handouts/homework

Level: NZSL Beginner - Part 3 (Level 1, Units 4 to 6)

At the end of this course, you will learn:

Unit 4 - Family & Friends

• tell about immediate family/whānau and relationships (e.g. friends, colleagues)

• give and ask personal information about self and others such as where one lives and their pets

• use numbers for counting (0‐30), age, ranking

Unit 5 - Everyday Activities

• communicate about simple home and leisure daily routines and activities

• express feelings about activities

• use calendar and clock time phrases

• Wrap up activities, review, final activity and/or event

Unit 6 - Small Talk 

• start conversations with known and unknown people

• make compliments (e.g. appearance, clothing) and congratulations

• ask and tell about general wellbeing, health and everyday life

• discuss the weather

• close a conversation

We will go ahead once we have reached the min number of participants (a min number is 4 participants is required). Installment plan available.
