About The Course

Merge NZ is now opening applications again for you to apply for funding to learn NZSL for free of charge. With NZSL Fund, it made possible for new and current NZSL students to register and learn NZSL for free of charge. You can apply to register for either NZSL onsite (face to face) course or NZSL online course (both are 8 weeks long) at any level.

To apply for a free course, the criteria is to be followed:

• Parents/whanau of Deaf children (can be extended family)

• Deaf children aged over 16 years if attending with an adult   family member

• Adults who work with Deaf children

• Adults who want to learn NZSL

We have limited spaces left. 60 spaces left for NZSL onsite (face to face courses) and 50 spaces left for NZSL online courses. You will need to decide which course would you like to register when you are applying for a funding.

Register your reason/motivation for learning NZSL (up to 90 words) on our website by 20 April. You will be notified if your application is successful by 26 April, then your registration will be organised by one of our NZSL Courses Co-ordinators (NZSL Onsite or Online courses).
